Ryan Daugherty
Co-Founder & Chief Executive Officer
Ryan founded BuildCore with a vision to better serve the rapidly evolving needs of institutional real estate owners and operators. After years of hands-on experience in construction and development, Ryan and partners recognized a persistent gap in the market: clients lacked a partner who could consistently deliver at scale, with the speed, transparency, and performance their portfolios demanded.
With a track record of scaling multi-market construction businesses—including a single-family rental platform that grew to 19 markets prior to acquisition—Ryan brings both operational depth and an efficiency-driven mindset to BuildCore. Under his leadership, the company combines field expertise with proprietary technology to deliver faster project timelines, greater visibility, and outcomes clients can rely on.
Wes Cannon
Co-Founder & Chief Operating Officer
Wes brings more than 20 years of experience in residential and commercial construction and development to BuildCore, with deep expertise in field operations, large-scale renovation execution, and vendor network development. As COO, he helps lead BuildCore's scaled construction platform, ensuring projects are executed with consistency, quality, and efficiency across single-family, multifamily, and commercial portfolios.
Prior to co-founding BuildCore, Wes held senior leadership roles across the industry, including overseeing multi-market renovation programs as a Regional Director and leading statewide field operations for a tech-enabled property management company. He brings a practical, execution-focused approach that ensures BuildCore delivers reliable, high-performing outcomes for its clients.
Mike Linn
Co-Founder & Chief Strategy Officer
Mike applies a strategic, systems-driven perspective to BuildCore, shaped by more than 20 years of experience in real estate construction and development across multifamily, commercial, and large-scale renovation programs. As Chief Strategy Officer, he helps shape BuildCore's growth and market positioning, applying a systems-driven approach to how the company scales, serves clients, and delivers consistent performance across portfolios.
Before co-founding BuildCore, Mike founded and led a successful general contracting firm, completing more than $300 million in work and building long-term relationships with institutional investors, private owners, and public-private partnerships. His career spans hands-on trade execution to executive leadership, giving him a rare ground-up perspective on the industry. Most recently, he led special projects, process improvement, and technology enablement for a national property services company
Evan Edgeworth
Co-Founder & Chief Technology Officer
With more than two decades in construction and deep experience in the REIT sector, Evan helps shape BuildCore’s approach to PropTech through a rare blend of industry and technology expertise. As Chief Technology Officer, he leads the development of BuildCore's proprietary platform, designed to integrate field operations with data-driven systems that reduce vacancy, streamline execution, and improve performance across single-family, multifamily, and commercial portfolios.
Prior to co-founding BuildCore, Evan served as VP of Operations at a national property management and construction technology company, where he oversaw enterprise-scale infrastructure and operations. His career spans acquisitions, project management, and property operations, giving him a practitioner's perspective on product development.
Cam Bruckman
Chief Revenue Officer
Bruckman offers a rare blend of hands-on construction experience and high-level relationship management that has made him one of the most recognized and respected operators in the multifamily space. His connection to the industry started early in Colorado, working alongside his father, a general contractor—an experience that still shapes his practical, results-driven approach.
After graduating from Colorado State University, Bruckman entered the multifamily sector as a local account manager and quickly rose through the ranks. By pairing technical know-how with a relentless client-first mindset, he expanded into national accounts, working closely with some of the largest ownership groups and third-party property management firms in the country.
Most recently, Bruckman helped drive growth at Redux Construction, building strategic relationships across key multifamily portfolios. Prior to that, he was a national account manager with CAMP Facility Services, further cementing his reputation as a go-to partner for owners and operators alike.
Lane Hacker
Accounting Controller
Lane serves as Controller at BuildCore, where he oversees financial controls, reporting, and accounting operations across the company's multi-market construction portfolio. In a business defined by rapid growth and operational complexity, he brings a disciplined, structured approach to financial management, ensuring consistency and clarity across dozens of active markets.
With a background as an auditor at Grant Thornton working with multi-billion-dollar publicly traded companies, along with experience as Controller for large-scale construction firms exceeding $500 million in revenue, Lane brings deep expertise in managing high-growth environments. He leads BuildCore's financial functions with a focus on transparency and accountability, reinforcing the company's commitment to building trust with clients, partners, and stakeholders at every level.
